All officers are advised to write below their suggestions regarding forth coming Officer's Pay Package for the year 2014-2015 for compilation and onward submission to Officers Federation and Management of Corporation. Your suggestions will highly be appreciated.

ReplyDeleteMedical Facility after Retirement of an Officer
An Officer should be entitled for medical facility of his parents if parents are availing only pension benefits as in case of staff.

1. Sum Assured of Compulsory Group Insurance should be increased.
2. Post Retirement Rider should be attached with Compulsory Group Insurance for after retirement benefits.
3. The amount of Professional Education Allowance to Officers having MBBS, MBA, MPA, Engineering etc., degrees, should be increased From Rs. 1,000/- To Rs. 20,000/- Minimum.
4. Child Education Allowance should be allowed to Officers.
5. BONUS: Minimum Two Bonus should be compulsory for each Officer and other bonuses should be link with performance based.
6. The Budget of all advances to officers should be increased.
Mandatory balance of 180 should be allowed for officers as availing staff members.

DeleteThe prestige of the officers should be established throughout the Corporation. The officers of the Corporation have not only lost their charm but are subjected to at times, unjustified and unreasonable hardships.
ReplyDeleteThe following are few submissions along with others:
1. Regular Promotion Exercise for all officers in grades regularly, without any delay.
2. Pay increase up to 25% in the current basic, keeping in view the price hike across the country.
3. All such matters should not be referred to Ministry of Commerce for approval and the same should be approved by the board of the Corporation.
4. Deputation should be discouraged and fair chance to Officers be given for higher management positions.
5. Suitability marks for Officers other than Departmental Heads of the Zone during the promotion exercise should be given in consultation with Departmental Heads / Zonal Heads / Regional Incharges or Regional Chief of the Zone as the case may be.
6. Officers should be posted in Departments keeping in view their acquired education and back ground.
7. Yearly bonuses of the Officers should not be based on the overall performance of the Zone / Corporation. The same should be fixed twice a year; however, a performance based bonus may be given to the Zone, upon achieving their business targets.
8. Training sessions of Officers and Staff should be organized by the respective divisions. Helping them to be in line with the latest developments and procedures. The same will also lessor the space between the officers and Principal Office.
9. Transfers of Officers should not be made out of the region, as the same has always proven to be difficult for Officers and their families.
10. During appointment feedback from the Zones should be taken, as to in which cadres they require officers and staff. Unnecessary appointment should be stopped at all cost, as the same are being proven as burden on the Zones.
11. Sports Budget should be increased and there should be teams formed throughout the Zones in different sports, which will be proven healthy for the Employees.
12. State Life Employees Rules should be updated and properly passed through the legislative body.
13. There should be a difference between professional and academic degrees. Allowances for the same should also be given.
14. All Officers who are appointed on or after 2010 should be given a choice, like before, for opting and other wise of Leave Encashment rules.
15. Those Officers who choose Leave Encashment should be given an opportunity to accumulate 120 days on his earned leave balance.
16. Medical Leaves should be provided other than Casual Leave. The same should be subjected to doctors’ advice etc. And may not be more than 30 days in a calendar year.
17. Rule of 25 years for early retirement should be reduced to 15-20 years.
18. An Officer should be entitled for medical facility of his parents if parents are availing only pension benefits similar to the rules for Staff.
19. There are retire Officers who are only in need of medicines, but due to the limitation imposed after retirement they at times are not able to. Therefore Medical budget for retire employees should be merged into one head, i.e. the three basics can be utilized in one head, as the case may be.
20. Haj Scheme should also be introduced for Officers.
21. Working hours of the Corporation as per international and domestic law should not be more than 40 hours a week.
